Salt Wins UK Trophy for Best Cybersecurity Solution!

We have smashing news to share! Salt Security has been named Cybersecurity Solution of the Year in the Prestigious National Technology Awards — our first award in the UK and a brilliant recognition! Organized by National Technology News, the National Technology Awards celebrate the pioneers of technology and encourage excellence, providing the most comprehensive celebration of technology of the year.

I had the privilege of picking up the trophy for the team last week at a posh awards dinner held at the inimitable Grosvenor Hotel in London. Salt received the top award for its Salt Security API Protection Platform. Being a category winner alongside other prominent technology leaders, such as Vodafone, BP, LexisNexis Risk Assessment and more, was a true honour.

The evening was kicked off by National Technology News editor, Jonathan Easton, before he handed the mic to the very funny Suzi Ruffell to do a set and bestow the awards. Suzi is a stand up comedian who has appeared on Live at the Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show and Mock the Week, as well as sold out five shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The judges, including Nimisha Brahmbhatt, Founder and CEO, Quantum Global Consultants and Sabina Ciofu, Associate Director, International Policy and Trade Programme, techUK as well as other prominent tech advisers, dubbed the Salt Security API Protection Platform “A simple yet comprehensive API security offering” — earning us top prize in the Cybersecurity Solution of the Year category.

Winning awards has become a weekly occurrence here at Salt! But the NTA award means a lot to us as our first official award in the UK! It also signifies the growing awareness about the need for purpose-built API security in the UK and, of course, the unique capabilities provided with the Salt platform.

Salt pioneered API security and has led the market in protecting enterprises’ critical APIs. In doing so, Salt empowers businesses to continue to deliver new and innovative digital initiatives to their customers without worrying about data breaches.

Here in the UK, security concerns abound in today’s digital-first economy. With Salt, the safety of your APIs does not need to be one of them. Salt  leverages its API data lake with its mature artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms, giving the deepest insights into API behaviors, so organizations can quickly detect and block potential API attacks. Businesses can rest assured that their APIs are safe from misuse and attackers with Salt.

We would love to show you how Salt blocks API attacks! Are you attending Infosecurity Europe June 20-22? Salt will be demonstrating our award-winning API security platform at the show. To set up a meeting, or an in-person demo, please contact us!
