Latest Salt Accolades — Customer Award + Cyber 66

I’m excited to share the latest evidence of Salt leadership in API security, with two powerful tributes.

First — Salt Security has been honored as winning  the “Peace of Mind” category during the first-ever Ally Technology Partner Awards! Ally Financial, the nation’s largest digital-only bank and leading auto finance company, highlighted five suppliers for their outstanding service excellence across a broad array of criteria. We were honored for our industry-leading Salt Security API Protection Platform.

Second — Salt has been added to the prestigious JMP Securities Cyber 66 list, which recognizes the 66 hottest privately held cybersecurity companies! This list recognizes the cybersecurity companies finding success and influencing the industry — despite increased competition and economic uncertainty.

Both of these tributes are incredibly meaningful to our team here at Salt. Addressing our customer needs and giving them the confidence in the security of their most valuable digital data and services is our number one priority. We are beyond thrilled to receive the “Peace of Mind” award from our fantastic partners at Ally.

According to Sathish Muthukrishnan, Ally chief information, data and digital officer:

“Each winner showcases the importance and value of superior execution, quality and partnership. We are thrilled to honor them through this awards program.”

Salt COO and co-founder Michael Nicosia adds:

“Just as Ally is a pioneer in digital-only banking, Salt created and defines the API security industry. We are thrilled that our best-in-class API discovery and threat protection helps Ally and other companies sleep better at night. We take care of the security, so they can focus on harnessing the business value of their digital initiatives.”

Ally has been an amazing partner for Salt over the years. The team has pushed us to innovate in function and in scale, and our platform is better thanks to them.

We are also delighted to join seven other cybersecurity startups as part of the freshman class for the JMP Security Cyber 66 list for 2023! According to JMP, each company brings its own unique value to different domains within the cyber industry. JMP lauds this cadre of newcomers as the most well-positioned private cybersecurity companies making an impact in today’s cyber landscape.

Salt pioneered the API security market. Our API security platform has the most mature algorithms and comprehensive data set available to quickly spot and block today’s increasing API attacks. If you’re attending the RSA Conference, we’d love to meet and give you an in-person demo! Contact us today to set up a meeting.
