Nature of Processing and Location
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Salt Security's cloud service is hosted using resources provided by AWS. Salt Security’s default storage and backup facilities are hosted by AWS within the United States. Salt Security also has a cloud service hosted by AWS in the European Union where EU customers can elect to store their data.
Salt Security's cloud service utilizes MongoDB's managed database, Atlas. Salt Security’s default MongoDB Atlas instance is located in the United States. Salt Security also has a MongoDB Atlas instance in the European Union where EU customers can elect to store their data.
Salt Security's cloud service utilizes SingleStore's managed database. Salt Security’s default SingleStore instance is located in the United States. Salt Security also has a SingleStore instance in the European Union where EU customers can elect to store their data.
Salt Security Canada, Inc.
Salt Security’s Canadian subsidiary employs R&D, engineering and customer success personnel located in Canada who may have limited access to customer data as needed to perform their functions.
Salt Security’s Israeli subsidiary employs R&D and engineering personnel located in Israel, Ukraine and the European Union who may have limited access to customer data as needed to perform their functions.

As Salt Security’s business grows and evolves, the Subprocessors with which Salt Security engages may change. Salt Security will endeavor to provide its customers with notice of any new Subprocessors to the extent required contractually or by law, along with posting such updates to this page.
